About Kara: Business owner, pet sitter, and dog walker.

This is me with Pepper and Raider.

  • My name is Kara. I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember and have had numerous pets. I currently have five dogs, a cat, a bearded dragon, fish, chickens and ducks, and a horse. I really enjoy horseback riding.

My experience with animals includes working with horses at a riding stable as a trail guide, stable hand, and riding instructor. I also worked at a veterinary clinic as an assistant and receptionist from May of 2005 to November of 2012.  I volunteered at the Toledo Zoo from May 2012 to January 2013, as an exhibit guide talking about the animals in Tembo Trail, then in the Education Animal Center taking care of the husbandry of many species of animals.

  • I graduated with Honor from Michigan State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science. Since then I have been certified as a Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor in 2009 from Penn Foster.  In 2012 I have also been certified in Pet First Aid.  I am a certified pet sitter through National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).
  • I have been a member of the Toledo Kennel Club since March 2011 where my dogs and I enjoyed obedience and agility.  There I have assisted in the puppy class and home obedience class. I also taught the beginner agility class.
  • As a pet owner and pet lover, I understand the stress and anxiety of leaving your pet at home for long hours during the day or while on vacation. That is why I have decided to create a dependable pet care service to meet your needs.

About Allison: Pet sitter and dog walker.

Hi, my name is Allison Kane and I am 31.  I grew up in Sylvania, graduated from Northview High School and currently reside in West Toledo with my husband.  We are the proud parents of two cats, Spyro and Lana, along with our dog, Jesse.  I grew up around animals my entire life.  Horses and dogs always brought me happiness.  Be it getting together with friends or family, there was always a four legged friend.

I have worked in healthcare previously as a Registered Medical Assistant.  I have ridden horses for twelve years and graduated from Ohio University with a major in Equine Studies.  I served in the United States Navy and my hobbies include travelling and any outdoor activity that includes animals.

Christine Walsh: Pet sitter and dog walker.

A little bit about myself , I am Christine Walsh. I have cared for animals for as long as I can remember. As a child, my Dad would bring home salamanders he found at work on the railroad. That turned me into a lover of lizards! My first dog was Shep at age 5 a Collie who was by my side till I was 12, after that we always had a 2 dog household. I could never be without the unconditional love a dog gives. 💕 We have lived in Lambertville for 13 years now, and around the second year kittens came into our lives. Now 13 rescues later, I pretty much think they tell each other to come to our house!
Throughout the years of many different pets my 3 kids have brought into our lives, I took up beekeeping. This has been my 9th year of keeping bees. I sell honey and make natural products also from my hives. BeeSweetSensation is my little business. It may not bring love that our pets give but they sure do make great honey!
