Welcome to Kara's Critter Care, LLC, where we pride ourselves on our friendly and dependable pet care in the comfort of your home and dog walking for extra exercise for your best, four legged, friend.
When you hire us for your pet sittng needs, your pet stays at home where they are most comfortable so there is less stress. You don't have to drop your pet off at the kennel and risk exposure to other pets that may be carrying a disease. No imposing on family or friends. Your vacation can be guilt and worry free knowing that an insured and bonded professional is taking good care of your pet.
We can also get your dog out on a walk when you cannot. Maybe your dog has too much energy, needs to lose some pounds, or needs let out when you are away for work or your children's busy sports schedule. Our trusted team will get your dog out for that much needed walk and potty break.
Hiring our team of sitters gives you peace of mind. With more sitters available, it is easier to make sure you are always covered and are more likely to be available for last minute requests. If one of us has an emergency, we have back up to keep you covered. We are all insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates to keep you protected. Each sitter has their own background and experiences so we can ask each other for help, and having another pair of eyes when taking care of your pets allows us to give your pets the best care possible. Having a team also allows the owner to have more time to work on improving the business to better meet your needs so everyone has a pleasant experience. Kara Stevens
Business Owner
My name is Kara. I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I have many pets, including: dogs; cats; horses; ducks; chickens; and many pocket pets. I have also worked at a horse riding stable, a veterinary clinic, taught or assisted classes at The Toledo Kennel Club, and volunteered at The Toledo Zoo. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from Michigan State University and am also a certified dog trainer through Penn Foster.

My name is Andrea. I have lived in Bedford my whole life and graduated in 2003. I grew up with dogs my entire life having mostly beagles and Brittanys. I love fishing and being outside. I enjoy being around all animals.

My name is Hailey. I have grown up with many different kinds of pets like dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, a lizard, rodents, and a horse. I have been tagging along and helping with the pet sitting since I was 6 years old. I love being around all the animals.
